Precision metal stamping processing refers to a technology that uses precision molds and advanced process methods to punch or stretch metal plates and strips. It includes three types: cold stamping, warm extrusion, and hot stamping. Cold stamping is the most widely used technology, accounting for about 80% of the entire production process, warm extrusion accounts for 10%, and hot stamping only accounts for 10%.
Due to the complex shape and high dimensional accuracy requirements of precision hardware products, various advanced processes must be adopted to ensure product quality and production efficiency. This article mainly introduces several common precision hardware stamping die structures and their manufacturing methods.

Drawing die, also known as bulging die or expanding die, is used to make a cavity (such as an internal threaded hole) of sheet metal that has the same shape as the part but has a complex internal structure, in order to complete the part forming process in subsequent processes.
The deep drawing process usually consists of three parts: cutting, blanking, and forming:
1. After cutting the material into grooves, cut it along the direction of the boss and remove burrs;
2. Cut off the excess part on the surface of the boss and press the material tightly into the groove during forming;
3. Unload and remove the formed workpiece from the workpiece;
4. Use a trimming knife to trim the remaining amount after trimming and punching to the required thickness (generally not exceeding 2mm);
5. Inspect the produced parts and record their dimensional tolerances and surface roughness data;
6. Mark the areas that need to be marked for easy assembly and measurement in subsequent processes.
